And yay for making the random non-con seem less random! I love that you caught all the little things that inflame Riley. And you know I agree with you about Spike:

He's just so sweet and helpless when he has no choice but to do what Riley asks - but he's still snaryky, which is so Spike.

And yes, totally. Riley can never be as cruel as Angel was to Spike, just as he can never be the hero Angel was for Buffy.

I hurt for Spike during this. You did a very good job with the descriptions throughout. What I loved the best, though, was the way Spike gathered himself enough at the end to still show Riley his spine and say the one thing that would hurt him the most. Riley fucked him, and Spike fucked him right back, if metaphorically. That's my boy

Thanks for the comment! I hurt for Spike too. I love that you liked Spike's snark at the end - because yep, that's our boy!

And yeah: non-con, dry, no prep? There'll be definite discomfort for the guy on top. To me Riley is ignorant enough about these things that he wouldn't know about stretching and lube - so he knows it'll hurt Spike, but not how tight it is. Which is why Spike feels a moment of triumph, or at least God-you-really-have-no-clue. Your plot device will definitely work.

Can't wait to see your fic! I love Angel, Riley and Spike in a fic together (which is part of why he slipped into this)! I'm thinking about one with all three of them myself, actually - though my guess is it'll be very different, from this and from yours.
