I was born on Election Day in US so my birth week is always fraught. It is looking way, way too close here right now. I really do not understand what a great number of my country people are thinking.

Hoping for better results in the morning.

It's all too horrifying. Even if Biden pulls it off, he'll be hamstrung by the Senate. We'll get a four-year reprieve in which we might not make things worse (or too much worse), but the pause will be only temporary. The people who revel in Trump and Johnson are not going away; they WANT what these clowns represent. There are millions upon millions who will continue to vote for any outrageous candidate who stokes their rage and panders to their worst impulses ( ... )

I'm am thoroughly baffled by people. How they could not see how damaging and destructive Trump was is just, I can't even understand it. I think the US is pretty well done.
As for Brexit, again, I couldn't believe that people had the chance to stop it and doubled down instead. ARGH indeed.

We're immersed in our own "ARGH!"

:/

Let's hope we all get through our various dramas with our sanity intact.
