Makes sense to me! Rachel and Santana are far and away my favourites, although the Rachel/Kurt brotp gives me joy.

I kind of felt that, but I am often a bit meh about their competition numbers. Idk, I think I've seen and loved too many musicals for Glee to be that shiny to me... I am a bit of a musical snob.

Oh, yay! I'm glad :)

Also thank you for commenting, because I was all "what, I mean cool, but she's still around?" and then I noticed you weren't on my no-comms filter which is like... all I read ever these days. FAIL.

Haha I can't say I blame you. I haven't been around in ages. Been trying to get back to writing but it's slowgoing since I lost my betas.

Totally random, where in the UK do you live? I was just in London two weeks ago.

Ah, I see that.

I actually don't live in the UK these days - I live in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, teaching extracurricular English to rich kids. I did and will live in London, though :) See anything cool?

You know the Asian F thing bothered me for ages. Then I've actually talked to a few actual Asian-American's about it and they said it was something that really rang true and worked for them, that is such a common attitude. I mean YMMV, but that was good to learn more about.

I love how much you love Puck. For serious.

I am so glad you wrote all these thoughts. I wish I had something more substantive to respond with :p

Yeah - it rang true for me based on my interactions with Vietnamese parents & students. (My teenage students are constantly exhausted, and I just lost one of my eight-year-olds from her Saturday/Sunday morning class BECAUSE SHE HAS SCHOOL ON SATURDAY MORNING NOW.) If it worked for them, that does help me be less squicked. Not non-squicked, but much less squicked.

PUCK.

Well in 1x06 they have the first mash up competition and everyone is on drugs and disqualified and in 4x08 the have sectionals and the Warblers are on drugs, even though we don't know it yet. Lol, parallel all the things!

I think Puck/Kurt is a pretty decently sized ship, if that interests you. *instantly relates Puck back to one of my faves*

PARALLEL ALL THE THINGS! is totally my meta motto, haha.

I'd sooner read Puck with a girl, honestly. I just don't know who. I'd totally read Puck/Rachel having naughty times but I don't know that I ship him with anyone, except maybe Elphaba. Puck/Mercedes? Both in LA and missing high school, and we know he likes fat women. And then it's two of my favourites!!

I do kind of enjoy bad boys learning to be gay, and them being angsty while the nerdier boy is totally unashamed (see also: this one great Breakfast Club fic) but I'm not sure how much shame I'd buy Puck as having - he's certainly not impervious to it, but I feel like he'd be able to own queerness given his track record re: Glee. Whereas Finn coming out when he's like 35 would not seem crazy to me.
