So, kids, what are you wearing to the Diacon Victory Ball? :DDD Even if you're far too cool for actually dressing up for it and going in jeans, do tell me! Is anyone cosplaying? Your dress sounds lovely.

I'll be cosplaying everyday (I mean how often do I get the chance to do that?).

I'm too tired to go into detail with all my costumes, all I'll say is this: Narcissa will be at DiaCon :)

Thanks! :D It's made of a slip and then the main dress is in the same colour, but translucent. Which allows for lots-of-cleavage-except-not-really :D

There will pics post-Diacon! There are none right now, unfortunately. And my sozzled parents just got back from a party and left the digital camera there.

Not cosplaying but will be wearing a black shirt, black flowy skirt, black and burgundy corset this one and a black and burgundy pashmina/wrappy thing. And some sort of boots. :)

Am highly jealous that you have a ginger man as an accessory though. :-D

That company makes really nice and affordable corsets. I haven't worn this one before (I just bought it for the con) but have another one I got for a friend's Steampunk wedding last year and have worn out a few places including Aeternitas. Of course, when it's on me, it may not be quite as pretty as there is the rest of me to go with it. :-/

Hee -- I would only borrow someone's partner/escort/whatever with their permission. ;) But I have a serious penchant for ginger men...*swoon*

LOL, he's not my date or anything... however, while his girlfriend won't be at the con, his mistress will be (who isn't me, btw!). Said boy is ever so shy, but you never know. I am going to attempt making him dance with me :D

Ginger men, they are teh hot. In the first part of the DH film, when Harry and Ron are all *CONFRONTATION* outside the burrow? I pay no attention to the emotional fight, I just stare at Rupert Grint and his awesome shoulders!!

! I am a fan of coral so I am all for this dress haha. You are going to look absolutely smashing. :D Also crossing fingers for the lovely redheaded gent! Would be the best co-ordination ever.

Ahahaha, thanks :D I like coral generally, but I am super-pale and I tend to think coral is a colour for darker-skinned ladies. BUT SARTORIAL BRAVERY IS MINE.

Ahahaha. He will be indeed! His girlfriend isn't coming, unfortunately, or I would be making them both wear purple and then wriggling platonically between them :D
