So you know how I was all pleased because my RL deadlines were over with and I could spend the weekend writing? Yeah... that didn’t happen. A new RL deadline for this Thursday has sprung up. It wouldn’t be very arduous, except for one thing which is going to make it incredibly hard: I’m spending Monday to Wednesday in Amsterdam.

Totally up for that!! We get in Monday night - Tuesday's sightseeing and seeing family friends and we leave relatively early on Wednesday, so how'd you feel about getting dinner Monday night? We'll get to the (Eden) hotel about six, so maybe we could meet up at seven or so?

I don't have the address, unfortunately - all I know is it's near the university of Amsterdam. I'll try to get it from my dad and send it to you!

Cba to comment on 2 entries (I have fail today) but YAY for your sister gettign great results and then you guys fixing it for her to get even BETTER results. (I so should have done that. I was one mark away from getting three A's)

Huzzah for Amsterdam! My idea: offer to take your sister off for the day so your parents can have alone time and go get some hash cookies. Fun times.

Amsterdam is just great! Our oldest is made there by the way, but even without that aspect it is a great place to visit.

You really should see the van Gogh-museum, but I guess your sister has that covered already.

It's great to just walk around, but taking a channel cruise is just lovely so you really should do that.

Make sure to eat Indonesian food! Very special and really, really good.

My thought when reading this was 'Oooh I should mention that Katelin lives an hour and a half away from Amsterdam!' Only to see Katelin fail all on her own and inform you of that :P.

Also, if you tell your parents/siblings that you're meeting a friend and that you guys are gonna eat dinner then go dancing/to a bar/hang out that would give you the unquestioned freedom to go to a lesbian bar with Katelin, she'll have fun, futches love hitting on her ;D.

That is gorgeous art (I totally seez Snaco there though) and I completely missed everything/anything you said in between those points *eye twitch*

Also, if you're up for walking for a few hours you should totally take one of the free walking tours! Try and get the same guide we went with, Kendra, she's fantastic! Entertaining and cheap, she'd appreciate it if you tipped her but it's nothing compared to other tours and you give as much as you want (e.i. you could not tip her as well...)
