Well - I now know why my Windows installation imploded last week. My hard drive was failing.

It's just gone terminal. I'm completely Mac based until I can get a replacement.

This is also the last time I buy a Maxtor hard drive. This one lasted the grand total of 4 months, and the other 80GB IDE in the USB2 box is also a bit cranky at times. YAY

Meh... the only thing I'll *possibly* miss is C&C Generals, and if I'm desperate, I can always get the Mac version downloaded XD

Maxtor drives! eeeeeeeeeew my dad has had the same, they corrupt so easily! :/ anyways now they sell 200 gig for the same price as 80 was back way yonder :)
