This was a good, manic, positively knock-down, drag-out exhilarating and exhausting day. I had 54 people in my 'what's it like to scuba' program down at the Children's half of the museum, and I did my spiel about three times in its entirety to accommodate the crowds, which meant I was in my wetsuit, on my feet, talking, crouching, hefting gear, ( Read more... )

Thanks so much for posting this terrific piece of art at your Muses gallery as well, Lokei. Lots of eyes need to see the way you paint Daniel. The 3D look of the piece is perfect for sci-fi.

I'm excited about your upcoming writing projects!

I hope you get some well deserved rest over the weekend. You're a trooper!

Would you be interested in reading/commenting etc some of my original fic? I have some stuff I won't be posting publicly, but I could use a few good eyes to let me know what parts work or need work before I send it off to a few contests, etc. It'll probably be another few weeks before it's done enough to send out to my 'consulting group,' but I'd love your opinion.

I had an insane, wicked amount of fun with this particular piece. I was happy to post it at Muses. *hugs*

Lokei, I am honored that you would ask me to read something so important. It makes the value of my humble opinion seem greater. I would love to read your work.

Love from Rollergirl

Ha ha, great entry. Sounds fun yet tiring and I love the line "inhaled a bagel" XD Your photoshopping has improved too, since last I saw... which was probably ages and ages ago. Nice design =D Entertaining the public must at times feel like torture, while at others be really rewarding and amusing.

I really, really love my job. There are a lot of days I go home in that peculiarly border state between adrenalin high and adrenalin crash. *laugh* Yesterday was just more intense than usual, but I was a babbly, happy mess at dinner last night. At least I tasted dinner, which is more than I can say for the bagel. Hence the 'inhaling.'

Been having fun mucking with Photoshop recently--when I figured out how to alter brushes I was a happy girl.

*drools* You know, I was never a HUGE Stargate watcher. I loved the movie, and thought I should take a look at the show, but never got around to it much, until I started seeing August. Many a night is now dedicated to a ep or two of Stargate. Daniel is SO yummy. You know I love my blond haired, blue-eyes boys in glasses. The brainy ones... who aren't afraid to kick a little ass sometimes. (Gah... just described not only Tearlin, but August too! Coincidence, I think NOT!) *giggle*

Sounds to me like you have one hell of a schedule, lovey! Course, you always do. I don't think you're really happy unless you've got a million and one things going on. *wink* Never a dull moment, eh?
