Race: Does Loki really care?

I've recently noticed some bickering that has befallen upon some Asatru groups regarding race and ethnicity. Some people say that Asatru should be for "whites"/people with European heritage ONLY, and others are saying that people of all races and ethnicity should be able to be Asatru.
I personally think, that the decision isn't even up to us, but

Loki doesn't give a f**k about what race you are; He works with humans of all races.
I know Odin isn't particular about race either.

Hahaha! It seems most of the Asatruers that feel Asatru should only be for people of a certain race, are the same kind that view Loki as a "Satany" figure, and His followers "Satanic Asatruers" ;P

Also, a lot of the figures in the sagas who use magic or see the future are outlanders -- probably Lapps and the Saami. I distinctly remember at least one described as a volva: who says the seer Odin calls up in Voluspa is of the "right" ancestry?

I'm sorry, but the Gods (Loki included) are only interested in you as long you're descended from an Ash and/or Elm tree. If your ancestry goes back to primarily Oak or Fir, Cedar or... well... just about anything else really, you may as well just look elsewhere as your personality is probably just too wooden to warrant any particular attention.

Does Loki care, no. But when has Loki ever cared about appearances, other then as a convenient way to get laid, or get something he wanted. Appearances are tools.

Do the other Asatru Gods care. Ask them, but it can be argued a maybe. Why? Blood, I believe, some pattern or other in the blood.

Is it just asshat Asatru racists who care, no. You want to know more about this, then look beyond just the racist arguments and look deeper.

The coffee situation your father told you was the 'One Drop Law' that came out of the end of the Civil War era. It was considered asshatty then, too.
