Announcing... the new Loiteringpalely - all about Pros zines!

Mar 18, 2009 12:09

I've been thinking about Pros zines again lately - well, I'm often thinking about Pros zines... *g* - and chatting about them with various people, and about how difficult they can be to find, especially when you're new to Pros fandom. That was actually why I originally set up the Palelyloitering website - when I was first in Pros the only place to ( Read more... )

Sounds a great idea to me! Which may spur me on to review my collection and see whether there are any I could bear to part with!

Oh good, and I know, me too! *g* Although I did just give a pile to someone, who will hopefully pass on the ones that she doesn't want to keep - or return them so that I can pass them to someone else. But this comm is all about the Pros-y sharing! *g*

This is a great idea, and you've also jogged my memory as the last thing I wrote (yes, that long ago) was a Pros fic which was supposed to go into Orbital Resonance. I've chased a couple of times, but not recently. In fact, it must be about a year, now I think about it.

Time to post it elsewhere, I think. I'll have to dig it out & dust it off.

Ooh yes, definitely time to post it elsewhere! Don't suppose you've heard from the errant LaConstance in the last year or so, have you?

I've just searched back through my emails, and in fact the last contact I had wasn't quite as long ago as I thought. I chased her again in August 2008 & she replied on 5 Sept saying:
The zine is still a definite go, and there will be several slashy illos added for a total of 30 pieces of art. I will let you know when it will be ready for the printers.
I haven't heard anything since.

Oh that's more recently than I think a lot of people have heard - I wonder if it'd be worth posting (here or even at Safehouse) to see if anyone's heard anything more recently? It really seems to be getting silly though...

Hi at all!
I'm hoping that someone may help me; I'm looking (desperately looking, from months looking, I-could-cry looking) a trilogy of Jane (of Australia). "Flesh and steel" it's the first part, and I could be happy to read/copy/buy all the series.
There is someone out there that can help me?
Thank you!

Hi! I don't think anyone but me will see this down here, because it was quite an old post - would you like to make a new post to the community? It's just the sort of request that I hoped people would post! Or if you like, I could do it for you, and ask people to contact you?
