I haven't seen either yet. Was actually planning on going to see Goon, but now that you've said there's so much swearing and crude jokes, I don't think I will. I'm no prude either and some swearing is fine, but I don't want to feel like I'm watching a movie that might as well have been called "Fuck" or something like that, you know? Like you said, I prefer something smarter, more creative. Something that doesn't involve crudeness, overt sexual references or innuendo. Hm...should google David Paetkau as a brunette though ;o)
Well, I did like it, it has a good heart to it, but yeah, it tends to be pretty crude. It gets better the further into the movie you get, but the character played by Jay Baruchel is the worst offender.
