If you have found a working LJ back up tool, won't you please share with us? My previous attempts to backup my journal have met with less than stellar results.
sadly, no I have not found such a tool yet. The tool I have currently is capable only of downloading the most recent 1000 posts. I don't know if perhaps there is a setting I can change that will let me get the rest of my updates. It seems acceptable for going from this point forward, though, which is why I'm trying it out. And it offers a few handy features I like, such as offline composing of the post.
I'll certainly post an entry when I find something easy and reliable, though.
