Given the recent news about LJ, I'm not sure whether I want to stay here. The fact that I'm not Russian and so therefore not subject to that country's laws is not the point. I don't want to support a platform that is prejudiced against LGBT people. I am one, after all! If anyone reading this has more info about what's happening, please feel

Presumably the acid test will be whether they start censoring LGBT-related posts.

They may (and this is speculation) do so for Russian users but not for foreigners. I think that would cross my red line, even so.
