It's so gorgeous! We had a heron that used to live on the river near the house and it was so pretty and elegant and freaked me out when it flew overhead. Those first few shots where it was almost invisible against the grasses in the background are amazing.

These are amazing! I'm really impressed by the shots you got of it flying! I can't take pictures of things in the sky to save my life. LOL the geese!

Heee, thanks! Oh man, the flying shots I think my heart was beating a mile a minute. I was like OMFG MUST TAKE MUST TAKE MUST TAKE and then the one where it's actually veering towards the geese, right before the first geese shot, actually came out unfocused. I was like POOP. REDO? PLEASE? No such luck >.>
