I went on a walk to Nana's today so I just took a bunch of photos. I won't caption them just . . . because.

My parents and I came home from spending the early afternoon at Nana's to find this little fellow sitting on our porch. My father hung up my mother's Mother's Day gift from Nana, a pot of petunias, and walked right by him. The bird didn't seem to mind too much - or perhaps he was just dazed. GRAPHIC: The Pigeon Coop
I spent the day with Denise as initially planned. Her father owns three coops full of pigeons. His birds are essentially his life. He used to bring them to shows, when he was physically able to drive them there. In his prime, he had over 600 birds, maybe even over 1,000. Now, he has maybe 200, if even that.
