It's been a while since I have posted anything.  I've been quite slack this year with doing things.

Being pregnant has been an amazing experience.  I am at the down hill run now, so not long now until I meet my baby.  I've got 5 weeks to go, one of those being stuck at work, then I'm taking 4 weeks off to firstly get the house in order and then

Having birthed three babies, that often used line in movies for childbirth scenes "I want some drugs." is a good one ;) hehe.

I am 40 and my kids are almost all grown up. Eldest turned 20 last month and I felt sad yesterday, when my middle daughter turned 18, but glad too, if you know what I mean. My youngest daughter will be 17 next year, so I feel a bit redundant.

I remember the late stages so well. Has the baby's head dropped yet? I went out to dinner three weeks before my youngest was born and I sat on a wooden chair, it was the most uncomfortable two hours of my life lol.

wow, I'm 36 and just starting my family... and your's are nearly ready to fly the coop!

The baby hasn't dropped yet, but I do understand about uncomfortable chairs, especially wooden ones. They had bad chairs at antenatal classes. My right leg went all numb!

Thanks Heather. I'm keeping my options open to pain killers and epidural. I'll see how I go.

Well, I'm hoping she wont be late, but we'll see. I've got a feeling about the 7th.
