What's a reverse lens technique?

Basically you take the lense off the camera body, turn it around and hold it up against the lense mount. Voila! Reversed lense. I heard about it on one of the photo communities I joined up on . . .

I pulled up a bunch of Morning Glories this weekend. They were trying to choke out my Chinese Anemone. That just simply wouldn't do. *plant-snob-huff*
