I would come to NYC just for Angela Lansbury. She's my favourite everything from always.

When I grow up I want to be Jessica Fletcher.

Haha, that icon is excellent.

And yes, Angela Lansbury basically wins. She is clearly getting very old though - it was a little bittersweet to see her onstage, know that she won't be doing any more shows, and see pretty much exactly why.

i know exactly what you mean about movies and stuff...like, just the other day, I was watching the Closer, and there was a scene when I realized, hey, I drive by the place where that character got killed everyday when I go to school! (ok, perhaps your location is cooler.)

Haha. It seems at least a little more cheerful to be recognizing, say, McDreamy's apartment building in Enchanted than the place where someone got killed. But yeah, same thing.

Hah, I'm sorry. I guess that means you'll have to come visit. Darn. And yes, yay Enchanted! I'm going to see it again tonight, probably. Hm. I want Enchanted icons...

God, I flail when I see NYC in films and such. It is truly a beautiful city. 13 months until I return! I'm dying of envy right now :P

Hey, cool, you get to come visit! Think of it this way - I don't know when in the world I'll make it to Australia, so you're way luckier than I am. :-)

Also, I didn't ask Maguire the question about Glinda and Fiyero, sorry. It seemed mildly inappropriate in a roomful of children. But maybe we will find out in the next TWO BOOKS of the WICKED QUARTET. (eee!)

Bwahaha, I'm just that good.

No, actually, he did a book signing here today and one of the questions someone asked was what his next project was...and he said the third book of the Wicked quartet was almost finished and in need of a title. Sounds like it may be focusing on the Lion this time - all of the test-titles he mentioned had to do with nerve or courage.
