Well, hello. I was starting to think you were no longer active since I've seen nothing of you since I added you!

I find it odd how the asthma kicks in under certain exercise conditions and not others. At the gym, I'll have trouble on the climber and stepper, but not the bike or the rowing machine. Weird right? Take it easy, and keep your inhaler with you. Your trip sounds amazing, enjoy and be safe - but hopefully we'll all hear from you before then!

Hah, sorry about the disappearance. Sometimes I just don't have anything to say for a while...

And yes, the asthma thing is extra weird. I've always had trouble running and swimming, but biking and most kinds of sports used to be fine. Not anymore, apparently. It might be time for a new inhaler, methinks.

That's funny about the apartment deposit. I thought you knew about those prices beforehand?

And, you'll love the trip, I'm sure. It sounds interesting. :)

Have fun! Maybe we'll all get together again before you leave?

Never get rid of the midwestener! One of the girl scouts asked me if I was from Canada, because she heard me talking. I said, "No, I'm not from Canada, but I'm from Michigan so you're close." She has cousins who live in Ontario. But really, I've been in Indiana for four years now and I don't *think* I have that much of an accent... It's a lost cause though. Let 'em think I'm a yooper. :)

new york address!! woo!!

i am curious where they put the law students - do you have a building name? are you on w. 114th or 113th? that's where all the law boys kate picked up lived, i think. it was all so long ago! hee.

this post reminds me i have to send the mass e-mail with the new address out. blah. that takes so much effort! anyway. an early welcome to our lovely city! if you don't have air-conditioning, BRING A FAN.

I think they put the law students basically all over the place - I know there's a building on 110th and one on 121st and a bunch in between. Mine is actually right across the street from Greene Hall (and one of my future neighbors is already on Facebook talking about running home to drink between classes - sigh).

And ugh, yes, there is not air-conditioning. I'm waiting for a response from the housing people as to whether I can bring a window air-conditioner, but my mother is very skeptical. If not, I'm bringing like eight fans. Moving in August - woooooooooo.

Hmm...I really need some NYC icons. I guess
I'll have to go with Canada.

getting thoroughly sucked into a fandom I swore I'd never enter ([info]spockette, this is all your fault)

Mwahahahahaha. I love infecting other people with the totally gay Broadway love. Yay! There's something about Idina/Kristin, yo. Because RPF used to squick me out, and then I read fic by mldrgrl & sunny_santa_fe & rysler & mania_revisited, and I got hooked. Heh. :)

But, yay for having an address in NYC. It will be scary, but AWESOME, for true. *is excited for you*

Argh, yes, I am so hooked. I kind of feel like I need a support group, because seriously everyone else I know is like, "RPF? WHAT?" while I just want icons and more fic and I might even WRITE fic and aaaargh.

YOUR FAULT, I say.

Yes, oh god. So many of my friends hate RPF. Even the fandom ones, they're squicked by RPF, and I was too. And then I was archiving for femslash_today, and ended up reading rysler's Appearances and Lemon Tea, and then I read Stockard Channing Eats at Subway, and...I got hooked.

And if you write fic, I will love you forever, for true. And I don't think there's any question of you NOT getting posting access at CE, so if you do write, you'll be able to post there, without ever having to brave The Dark Place (because...dear god, vampires? and Catholic schoolgirl AUs? and insanely disturbing quasi-incestuous BDSM, WTF), so yay!

Hah! I think Stockard Channing Eats at Subway was one of the first ones I read too. And now I must read subtext into everything (especially the Tony Awards last night - I kept trying to Chenzel-ize why Idina seemed so out of it).

Don't hold your breath on the fic - I usually have good intentions and then fail miserably at actually completing anything. In fact I've written one whole story ever. But I will try!

And okay, I really must go look for appropriate icons. I hate that my only Kristin one is West-Wing-related.
