when they said repent, repent, repent, I wonder what they meant

Somehow, it's the end of the year already. Which means it's time to see how I did on my 2009 goals:

WRITING GOALS 2009

• write something every day  -----> managed 85/365 days, and 35,003 words. I changed the goal a couple months back to 35000 words, so reached that one.
• finish a novel draft   -----> no, though made great progress on LM.
• finish 5 ( Read more... )

goal-setting, it's a good life

Congrats on your list of goals and accomplishes.

I don't know if you'd be interested, but a novel writing class is starting in Jan. It's free and done all online. http://www.fmwriters.com/community/dc/dcboard.php?az=show_topic&forum=17&topic_id=83528&mesg_id=83528&page=
hope the link works.

Yeah I saw that link when you posted it at DII... I was tempted, but in the end decided against it. I'm taking a creative writing course at school next term, so for the next 4 months I'm effectively in two critique groups already... adding a third seemed a bit much.

But then I checked out FM a bit more... and I always remember Val saying that she got a lot of benefit out of both FM and DII, in different ways... so I'm thinking I might consider joining FM in about June. I'll have to see where I'm at by then, of course... but expect me to pepper you and Val with questions! :P

The one thing about fmwriters.com is that most of the time there is always someone in the chat room to chat with :)

YOUR LIST NEEDS TO ADD MILKSHAKES WITH LAURIE AT REGULAR INTERVALS (or we can shake things up a little and confuse Cyndy by GOING TO ZAK'S INSTEAD).
