Hey my friend. I'd love to own it but David says he plans on it being his. If I could only be so talented.

Why couldn't you have a copy? It's interesting. How big is it?

Hey, how were the fluids? Did you have to excuse yourself? I'm pretty sure I would have hurled on my shoes. lol

It's a painting so there is no copy. I have asked him if he could do another like it, but haven't heard back. David says it's large but I have no clue. David has sent the photo only.
The bodies had been frozen and they were whole, no pieces or parts. The only time I felt weird was when we were at the Body Farm itself and were burying them and we put two in one grave and we had to do a bit of moving them around and that was weird. All in all it was a great weekend.
I'll call this week.

Those paintings are fantastic. Does the artist have a site?

Beautiful. I would like to see this in person. It pulls you in. Thanks for sharing. Body farm? Is that what I think it is?! I'm weirdly fascinated. LOL

I'd like to see it in person too!! Hopefully somewhat soon, though when David gets back from Europe he will be in LA to do some clients then back to NYC. Ariel has some beautiful pieces. Go to his website, it's on the last painting I put on LJ. Some are HUGE. The Christ one is 6 or 7 panels in a cross shape.
And the Body Farm is exactly what you think it is. UT in Knoxville has the only place like this in the world apparently. People come from all over the US and Europe to do research there. Would you believe that Australia has a problem with bodies being dumped in toters?? There really is a need to have them in different climates like desert, mountainous, sandy and so on. If you want to hear more let me know-it really is fascinating. I know exactly how you feel

Oh so do I. Let me know when you find out exactly when your dates for England are so we can get busy finding flights. It seems lots of people are getting to know and be interested in John-Boy now that Torchwood is on.

I want to see the painting in person. David says it is his but he won't be able to afford it for a while. Hopefully Ariel will have a show and put it in. Mom can dream can't she.

It's getting closer. They finally have updated the schedule planner so I could enter the days off up to the end of the year but not after the New Year yet. I've been checking the schedule multiple times per day. I want to enter the dates as quickly as possible to make sure I have the days we need off and not someone else! I'm so looking forward to going... I picked up the Out magazine tonight ( ... )

I so totally agree with you!!! He's a beautiful boy and that painting does him justice. Though that boy did forget his mother's birthday. He is in London now and going to Madrid, then Milan then either Hamburg or Munich, I'm thinking Munich, then ends in Paris. If it is Munich-should I have him get in touch with you guys?? Or I could give you his number and you could call him if you wanted to. It would be a week or so away. He's not returning to LA until the end of the first week in October.
