There needs to be some kind of metaphor license that people have to pass a test for before they're allowed to use them.

Maybe, maybe someone has a dairy fetish and would like the cheese/butter one (and the next fic I tried to read of hers had a butter metaphor sex scene, too). But shriveled-up dried worms? IN A SEX SCENE (that's not between goldfish)?!?

What her metaphor made me imagine was the freeze dried dead critters (can't remember what they were) that were a special treat for my beta fish. (And drowned, then dessicated, worms.) Yeah. I don't get it.
