We, in the over 30s group, are kind of on a cusp. Many of us I think can remember a time before the internet. I certainly can. I can also remember the advent of the internet and people saying "Oh man, if you google sex you get millions of hits". This got me to thinking ( Read more... )

Apparently I have no gratitude.

All of us have probably heard about the supposed benefits of gratitude exercises, like keeping a gratitude journal. Last night I tried to think of three things I was grateful for that day. And ... Nothing. Zilch. I could think of nothing. It's like my brain couldn't even think that way.

Maybe I'm an ingrate.

I'm sure this has been done to death, butI was just watching some stand up bits from Billy Gardell (the guy from Mike & Molly)He's not a whole lot older than me, so his stand up act really hits home.
