This year, with as busy as the three of us are, we are pinching a card from @shadowbooker on Instagram. Thanks to justjo2u for finding her! I would definitely recommend following her if you are on Instagram. She has a lot of lovely book related graphics/digitals that she shares and this one sounds so much fun and definitely stress-free.

I liked it too. I figured it was only 12 books so one a month. You don't always enjoy books that friends recommend but it still leaves enough time to read books of your choice.

And I don't think you should put yourself under pressure to finish a book if you really aren't enjoying it. Just as long as you've read enough to say you gave it your best shot.

Same here, these are my exactly thoughts. I put this on my social media. So far the recs have been at least things I might like but yeah I often don't enjoy books my friends like

Exactly. It's hit and miss. Sometimes you find a real treat and other times it's not what you enjoy.

I am going to post for recs from all my social media accounts. I figure if I get more than 12 recs I have more choice.

Glad you are joining in. I am going to ask for recommendations when I post about the challenge in my journal. I may put it out on other social media too and also to family and friends here. The more suggestions you get the easier to pick and choose.
