- If Pokemon makes it as a category at ljvgia, it WILL NOT make it as a category here. Having two of the same category going at the same time is really pointless, the same people will win both. Since Pokemon is primarily a game, I'm letting the VG Awards

I think that when it comes to creator/mangaka noms, it's generally pointless to even bother to nominate creators/mangakas where basically only ONE of their series ever gets iconned. I mean, I can accept Kubo Tite since I see Zombie Powder icons around, but Miwa Shirow is just...what. Does Miwa Shirou even HAVE any other manga D:!?

Everything else I basically agree :D! Though I must say that majority of Pokemon icons that get made come from the anime adaptations of it, so.

Also, you know I'd love to help :D *hands you pocky*. I'm terrible with drama-llamas, but I'd love to help with tallying and stuff like that /o/

this is really late, I know, and really just a suggestion for a future round. what if we created a category entirely for "best fanart icons"? admittedly I also don't know exactly why this contest doesn't allow them in the first place, but...
