FAQ38 does not include a mention of Sponsored Accounts.

Not taking action on this one myself - but IIRC sponsored accounts were not mentioned in this FAQ because they have to be created by a member of LiveJournal staff - the general user going through the steps in /create.bml cannot create this type of account.

This. Sponsored accounts are relatively rare to the point that even I'm not sure of how one gets from a normal account to a sponsored account. It's not a frequently asked question, so I'm okay with leaving it underdocumented.

Sounds cool to me. I'd never even heard of a sponsored account, so I figured I'd toss it out there lol. :)
