FAQ 96, FAQ 145

I don't like it when the FAQs lie. Currently both of these say that customizing comment links is reserved to paid accounts. But it is available to free accounts in 3 Column. Would anyone like to fix this?

I withdraw this suggestion, because 3 Column uses images rather than text and allows you to change these images. The FAQs specifically deal with

faq145, faq96, cat-customize

I'm confused, I thought it wasn't ever possible to change comment links in S2 unless you were a paid user? I thought free users couldn't change them evereverever and had to switch to S1 or pony up for some paid time?
I'm not sure if 3Column is a paid-only style; and, if not, whether a change comment link option somehow remains after expiration of paid time?

No, the 3 Column layout is free. The reason why it allows changing comment links for free users is because the layout owner did not use the built-in properties, but made her own... Which is very odd to me, but whatever, the style is approved, it's there, and it allows changing comment links.

Hmm, maybe it doesn't anymore. I cannot find it. In that case, I'll need to update this: http://www.livejournal.com/community/s2howto/10552.html

I was going to say re the above comment, at the risk of being a killjoy, it'd be a bug if it was present.
