I'd like to propose a few minor changes:
  • FAQ 104 [accounts]: Add "or website" as follows: You can give these links to your friends or include them in other online profiles. Please note that LiveJournal Support volunteers cannot assist you with inserting these links into programs or profiles outside of LiveJournal. If you need help adding links to ( Read more... )

About the last one, I think the last sentence should be changed slightly, like this:

You may mark groups as public or private using the web interface (http://www.livejournal.com/friends/editgroups.bml)and with some downloadable clients.

It just seems kind of weird to say "not all clients allow..." when you don't mention clients at all before that.

Otherwise, looks good.

Mm, true. I just copied that phrasing from the original paragraph, and it doesn't quite fit with the rest of it anymore.

I think these are all good ideas, and agree with Janine about the wording of that one sentence.

Re: 104 -- I don't think adding "or website" is necessary, since "documentation and support department" already covers that. Websites provide either documentation or a support department, so to add that in would be redundant.

Next time, can you consider waiting a day before making changes so that everyone with feedback gets a chance to make it? Obviously if something is critical then it needs to get done, but in cases like it's good to give us a little time. Thanks. :)

"Or website" refers to "programs or profiles" mentioned in the first half of the paragraph, and left out of the latter half, since the paragraph applies both to profiles in programs such as AIM and websites such as dating services and chat sites. Also, there were comments in favor of the proposed change posted before I made the update.
