Thank you for fixing the problem. I still have to log in a lot but then at least I can see and do what needs to be done.

FWIW. It is not a problem for me--the clock was correctly set. Still getting the error messages. Or I did yesterday. Usually when commenting. Could that be due to clock of the friend whose Journal I am commenting to?

Do they mean system clock set to same as Windows/etc clock set to same as LJ time zone? (Not that this will help you any, I'm just trying to figure out what could possibly be affected by me spontaneously deciding to change my time zone on the Windows clock.)

when I get an error message, i just click "back" and submit the message again. It goes through the second time with no probs.

That's not my issue. But glad you have an answer for those people.

What is the solution for dealing with the inability to leave comments? I keep getting errors. Highly annoying.

But hey we have a Frank Comic Strip and that makes it all better. /sar

I've had a similar problem for ages, as well. One out of two or three comments gets eaten. Usually it says this:

Error
Error
One or more errors occurred processing your request. Please go back, correct the necessary information, and submit your data again.
