Update on the "too many redirects" error

Those of you who are logging in and getting "too many redirects" or "cannot find server" errors on every journal or friends page you visit: we've discovered that this is likely because you have the wrong time set on your computer. If your time or time zone is set incorrectly, this can prevent our cookies from working properly

That's not my issue. But glad you have an answer for those people.

What is the solution for dealing with the inability to leave comments? I keep getting errors. Highly annoying.

What error are you getting? It could be a number of issues.

I've had a similar problem for ages, as well. One out of two or three comments gets eaten. Usually it says this:

Error
Error
One or more errors occurred processing your request. Please go back, correct the necessary information, and submit your data again.

Comment not posted: POST required, or missing parameter.

yes, I get that very often as well!

If you refresh the comment will show up.

same here, but when I log off, then log back on, my comment has been posted

oh strange.

I find it doesn't really matter if I'm replying from my gmail or from the lj page, it still happens just as often.

I wonder why logging out makes it appear! bizarre.

That can happen during heavy site load times. We're working on a fix for that, too. In the meantime, refresh the page and the comment will usually show up.

Mine doesn't.
I have to repost it once or twice.
I have gotten into the habit of copying my comments before trying to post them.

I click "back" and submit my comment again. It seems to go though finet he second time.

I get that error constantly. It's starting to get old.
