You should read this and nominate me... because...

I've maintained several journals and communities on LJ, as a member of fandom, as a programmer and designer, and as a communications medium. It is more than that. It can be a professional tool, because of the simple layout that is changeable with a little work... It is quite simple to make a multimedia page for only $20 a year. I keep a paid ( Read more... )

Eh, I support this nomination because I know Colleen, and she's weird, but also creative, goal-oriented, and great at solving issues. Plus, she's easier to contact than anyone I know. She might live in a pile of scary post-it notes, but it gets things done.

Well, as stated above, I am willing to give my information for direct contact, rather than force members to wait for me to comment back to them. I have AIM, MSN, and Yahoo, as well as e-mail on my hiptop phone, which never leaves my side.

This may get me inundated with messages, but I feel a real representative should be accessible, and if one can't handle the pressure of responding in real time, just as in any other position, then perhaps it isn't meant to be their thing.

I realize there is an NDA that I will have to sign, and yet, I realize also that LJ provides information that can be used to communicate with members while changes are being made, so I would like to be around for any questions and concerns, so that I can bring them up in real time and keep a list. So - if you like, go ahead and test the ways of reaching me I've posted above, and I'll respond!

Disclaimer: Due to insomnia, I may not respond between 5 and 7 am CST, due to this being a sleep slot. Sometimes. When we have no coffee.

I am nominating Mercynre for this position as her qualifications match the needs required. She knows her technical stuff and is a great listener in regards to what the needs of people are.

Thank you for your support, and feel free to let me know any personal concerns you have about LiveJournal via any of my contact information. ^_^

And awwww... I didn't want to make normal people twitch by listing my technical certs, but thank you for having confidence in me, sweetie.
