Known issues list for Rich Text Editor

We wanted to provide a list of the known issues that have already been filed for problems with the Rich Text Editor (RTE), and a few for the HTML editor, so that you can know whether a problem you're seeing has already been reported or not.

Bugs:

• Unable to remove/break a link in RTE post once the link is created. (LJSV-1724)
• RTE creates divs instead of paragraphs, causing unnecessary spaces. (LJSV-1723)
• Can't easily remove an lj-cut created in the RTE. (LJSUP-9577)
• Image resizing option not appearing in RTE after adding an image. (LJSV-1726)
• Editing an entry with "Disable Auto-Formatting" in the HTML editor strips breaks. (LJSV-1735)
• If an lj-cut is added in RTE, the cut content is moved up to the beginning of entry for some users. (LJSV-1742)
• Add contextual window for Opera in RTE (right-click menu). (LJSUP-9621)
• Backspace works as back button in RTE for some users -- add prompt message to warn. (LJSUP-9625)
• RTE overrides browser spellcheck. (LJSV-1749)
• Line breaks removed when editing through RTE. (LJSV-1751, related to LJSV-1735)
• Bold, italic, underline formatting in RTE applies differently with keyboard shortcuts than buttons. (LJSV-1752)
• Creating an lj-cut in the RTE automatically centers the text when it shouldn't. (LJSV-1753)
• Cannot create lj-cut using the RTE in Opera. (LJSV-1754)
• The dialog to select a Scrapbook image to insert in RTE is off the screen, unusable. (LJSV-1755)
• Can't click insertion point to end of paragraph in HTML editor in Chrome or Safari. (LJSV-1729)
• Numbering button is not working correctly in RTE. (LJSV-1757)

Improvements:

• The 'table' function/button should be put back into the RTE. (LJSV-1739)
• RTE buttons are too small, can they be enlarged? (LJSV-1756)
