It's coming, you guys! Mr. Edelstein's birthday... it's almost here! I was at a loss of what to do at first, but then I thought of something that might interest him.
Gilbert, I'm going to have to come to your store again soon. I need an evening dress.

She got to work soon after that, having already bought fancy envelopes and paper for all the work she needs to do. Smiling, she hummed to herself as she got out a fine ballpoint pen and wrote in cursive--something that she hadn't done in a long time.
Elizaveta carefully sealed each perfume-scented purple envelope with care, a small, elegant cream-coloured card nestled inside. She picked out the prettiest stamps in her little box and set them out in a cute little row.
She had done some digging to find out who Mr. Edelstein would appreciate at the small affair, and after a few calls and many consultations with the phone book, she had a neat little pile of envelopes, all ready for sending with addresses printed out and everything.
One for Alfred, one for Ludwig, one for herself and one for a Miss Rory Kirkland-Stewart. She was sure that there was something between these two, but she didn't feel like investigating any further, afraid to get too much into Mr. Edelstein's personal life. Elizaveta then looked beside her at the envelopes that were still undecided whether to send or not.
Gilbert? Would he be able to come? She wasn't sure. From what she had heard, they weren't on the... best of terms. She'd think about it later.
Peter? She didn't know. Would he be able to handle seeing them again? No, she wouldn't send one to him. He probably had better things to do anyways.
Carrie? She sighed, sticking a stamp onto the envelope. The woman would kill her if she wasn't invited.
She teared up the last envelope without looking, frowning. It was stupid for her to even think of inviting Feliks.
