She didn't know whether to feel curious, dumbstruck or pitiful. They... they had come so far. And yet, and yet.
Elizaveta sat on her bed, staring without seeing at the wall in front of her. All she could feel was numbness, really. She hadn't expected it to be... over so quickly. She still had fight left in her. She pulled her knees up to her chin and remembered that she was supposed to meet her teammates for dinner later. She'd have to smile and laugh and reminisce... at least Alfred would be happy. What with that scene at the end of the match, how could he not?
Her lips quirked up and she blinked out of her sadness. If her captain could feel happy, then she could find it in herself to be happy as well. It was stupid to feel this bad over a single match, really. There was more to Hogwarts then that, of course. Like, for instance, the Hogsmeade trip. She felt something flutter in her stomach. "The Hogsmeade trip, eh?"
Padding her way to the bathroom, she looked in the mirror. The colour of the black eye had dulled, something that she didn't know if she liked or not. It was certainly better than the radiating rays it caused in the light, of course. Sighing, she magicked herself to look a little better and walked over to her small brown owl.
She let it fly with a small piece of paper in its talons, carrying a message to deliver to a specific someone. When her owl would find him, she wasn't sure. Maybe, maybe he'd read it.
[Hey, Gil.
