That was my opinion of "Wicked" as well - very, very slow! Have you seen the musical?

I don't blame you for giving up on Wicked. I was dubious when I saw it on your list. It's okay, but DEFINITELY not a readathon book - they need to be both shorter, lighter and faster moving.

Tamora Pierce is brilliant readathon material :)
