Erasure is harder than it looks

When I try to erase the fic I'm working on, I get really worried that I won't be able to keep the music in the piece. It's like chipping away at fine marble. You need to find the secret lead that runs through the entire block and make sure that stays recognizable. I'm not actually deleting words; I'm only whiting them out, but it still worries me

It is proving more difficult than I thought it would be! It's a lot of fun, though, and parts of it go really easily! I'm putting a few different things together so that I have 2K, which is definitely proving interesting. It's fun though! I'm glad you're doing it!

It is fun! Since posting this, I've gotten a lot further and I'm really getting into the flow of it. Do you know if there's a word limit for the final product? Because right now, the fic is almost 2K after being erased and I'm not sure what to do about that.
