Its very interesting, what you are writing. We decided, years ago, that we dont want to go on with giving each other christmas presents. It was such a relief! But I dont know much people that are understanding that.

That sounds like you got the pressure of, good for you! We´ve been discussing doing that to, it would be hardest on me since I love to find small things that suits people and give that away, love to see the look in their eyes when they open a present and get surprised and happy. A bit silly I know..

I can understand you and it isn't silly at all Perhaps you have a better feeling for presents than I have, for me it was only an obligation to find something for everyone. But I like to buy or make something special for birthdays.

At christmas eve we like to sit together and have a good meal, the 24.th is the most important Christmas day in Germany and is a family and close friends day.
