I just got a call from Peet's Coffe saying that I won their weekly trivia contest! A free pound of coffe beans for knowing that the soviet dog Laika was the first animal in space....man, college really DOES come in handy.

i really hate online reading assignments. scrolling through pages of scanned reading is just so much less satisfying than turning a physical page. this is why even with more and more online news sources the newspaper will still live and prevail. reading something for an extending period of time on a screen is just lame and i can't focus on it. now ( Read more... )
