Happy birthday, saucydiva! Here is an AU of Ann's Decision, especially for you. Many thanks to stillscape for the beta. I'd also like to thank whimsical_irony and popgurlie for suggesting ideas.
OH MY GOD. ELIZABETH N. STEREO. I love this so very hard.
This was so full of lines I loved:
“No, I am totally available. When I’m not canning pickles,” Ann replied.
“Don’t you like mini golf? Market research shows that single women in their thirties love mini golf.”
“Ann” and “Ann’s Dating Consultant”
Unless she set Ann up with Ben, and that wouldn't work because there was only one Ben.
PLUS you got a reference in to Dateline, and you/Dateline is one of my main OTPs.
Seriously, though. This is everything I asked: Leslie and Ann, with a huge side of Donna, and how much do I love that you wrote me a lady-centric friendship story for my birthday? This is so very lovely, and I adore you so very much.
Oh! And for some reason I just really love the idea that you're allowed to bring a wingman if you pay a little extra. I wonder if that's true at real speed dating events; I hope it is.

I had to reference Dateline because you know Ann Perkins loves Dateline. She must love Dateline.
I wanted to write a lady-centric friendship fic with a hint of Donna and somehow that turned into speed dating.
Happy birthday! <3
