I haven't really started with the ideas yet, just got the lead/closing written (when I get ideas, I run with them). I've already made a joke about going out dancing with your girls instead of waiting for three hours to get into the Melting Pot, that's about it.

Melting Pot was the first thing I thought of. Okay, okay, I'm not single but eighteen consecutive solo Valentines should give me some credit. Plus Blond and I boycott Valentines every year anyway.

Now someone explain to me WHY people plan to go out in droves, wait forever even if they have a reservation, just to get bad service because of all the other people that are crowding the restaurant too? Movie theaters probably aren't much better.

On the Sex and the City theme, would the shoe stores already be out of all the best shoes due to pre-Valentines blues? Since Gainesville has been enjoying nice weather lately (though we'll see what happens in February) maybe everyone can discover a local park. There's a lot of secret little gems around here, and it would be a nice change to get out into the fresh air. Ditto to the picnic idea mentioned below, and the voodoo dolls!

you could get posters of guys and tack them up and throw darts at them blind folded.

take a trip to xmart and buy stuff that render men useless...
