I just got one of the best assignments from INsite I've ever gotten. After working at INsite for the past eight months, I've worked up the ranks to be one of the top five writers there. When my old editor left two months ago, she obviously spoke very highly of me to the new editor, because she's been giving me some of the best assignments and giving me a lot of priviledges to choose what/how I want to write things.
This month, I basically get to become Carrie Bradshaw in a way. I get to write "the Single Girls' Guide to Valentine's Day." And she doesn't want the "oh woe is me, let me eat chocolate and watch chick-flicks" piece either. She wants the "Who needs guys anyway?" type of story. I LOVE IT. Totally me. I just got the assignment and I've already written 330 words. Only 870 to go!
So I'd like some help from my single lady friends (I'm looking at you, shaynester) to come up with some fun/creative things to do around Gainesville. Let's brainstorm, folks!
