Arcadia has a Chili's now. It's not open yet, but it's built. Doesn't seem to be furnished yet, but... wow. Arcadia has it's first chain restaurant (not counting the Clock or fast food)! Of course, it's been built in the Super Walmart parking lot, so now there's the Super Walmart, the Holiday Inn Express, Chili's, Wendy's and Sonic which have all

Yeah, Southwest Saga =). He said the third section of it is REALLY rough and he might have to pull it before the concert. Just a testament to how awesome we were back in the day ;). They're also playing the West Wing, Emerald Isle, and originally were trying to play Grand Symphany for an Awful lot of Woodwinds.

Talk about a blast from the past ;)

Welcome to my world. They opened a Chili's, in the Super Walmart parking lot, in Zephyrhills (the town next to ours) right before I left for college. The next thing knew, they were building a Ruby Tuesday's, Long John Silvers/A&W, Sonic, and Whataburger right in the same area. It's all downhill from there.

I've got you beat for small towns now. Dade City still only has a McDonalds and Wendy's. No chains restaurants here. =)
