Almost all the reaction that I saw to "Impossible Planet" and "Satan Pit" was positive, so I'm not surprised that you enjoyed them.

Seeing "I Love Lucy" on that list of TV shows reminds me that I'm far older than I would wish, having seen many episodes of that show well over forty years ago.

I really enjoyed those eps too. They were very well done and the guest characters were excellent: complex, interesting, and in one case, seriously creepy.

You earned an excellent living and a world-wide rep in the 30s and 40s designing amusement park adventure rides using mechanically- and steam-operated animals and ghouls to terrify the wits out of the punters. Your 'Lost World' dinosaur adventure and the Martian landscape featuring a canal log flume ride are still classics, but they are eclipsed by the terrifying and awe-inspiring 'Return of Cthulhu' which still requires the seats of the wagons to be sluiced down regularly.

Actually, I have seen CSI - but only two episodes of it. Most of these, the current ones anyway, I've seen one or two eps while at other people's houses, or only the ep with a particular actor in them... you know. :)
