Okay, this is I think the most fruitful scowering of my f'list, ever. My god.

First, really cool links, mostly of the vidclip variety:

It's another one of my "off" pairings - Helo/Racetrack - and is one of me two personal favorites. It's kinda long, but I loved writing it.

Oh GOD yes. I keep seeing Froon in my mind's eye, reading it and alternately snickering and yowling "Why didn't *I* think of that?!" Like I said to Eve, "It's everything I love about Farscape does everything I have about the rest of TV, and does it better."

It's another one of my "off" pairings - Helo/Racetrack - and is one of me two personal favorites. It's kinda long, but I loved writing it.

I will do my best, but you should know I have seen the mini and two episodes worth of BSG2k3, so it is likely largely lost on me.

Hee. I keep forgetting that not everyone shares the same obsessions. :P In that case, let me share with you my favorite Farscape fic, Left Behind.

I'm also pretty proud of Kick at the Darkness in Farscape fandom, but it's a WIP that may never be finished (I haven't touched it in almost two years now, even though I *would* like to finish it one day), so I haven't linked you to it. If you do want to check that one out, though, it's right there at ff.net, too. ;)

Ooooooooooooooooooooh. Those are both Gorgeous. Cold Storm feels like a tiny splintered peice of a bigger mosaic, still sharp despite having faded with age.

*Shivers, wimpers* I keenly remember having read "Eaten" and loved it then, and love it now, in a "aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaargh!" kind of way.

I've got a sequel to Quiet Storm started, to show more of the bigger picture, but it's been damn near impossible to get the same feel to it and I keep faltering on it. Someone, I think rainer76, had said it had a noir feel to it, and that was one my favorite descriptions of the piece, and I think yours just tied it. hehe

And I love it when someone has that type of reaction to Eaten. Bwahahaha!

Just because I absolutely love horror novels and have always wanted to be able to write a decent scary story, and this was a great step in that direction for me.

And I'm babbling again, aren't I? I'll stop now. Oh, almost forgot! Thank you! *hug* *blush*

I can't figure out how to ask this without spoiling things for people who haven't seen the first movie, but didn't something happen at the very end of the first movie that made a sequel (or at least one with the same cast) impossible?

This is true - the ending that made a sequel near-impossible - View Askew has it for viewing (on both the site and DVD I believe), but Smith didn't use it.

Ok, I saw it on the DVD and somehow it stuck in my memory as THE ending for the movie. Now that I've done some research online, I see references stating that it was the original ending, but not the one they went with.
