Bwhahahaha! Oh, thank you! That was lovely. I was laughing and squeeing the whole way through. Jarod really is the most adorably adorkable thing ever, isn't he? And this was particularly enjoyable for me, because, y'know, I'm on S3, by which point there are sadly fewer things left for Jarod to newly discover, so a hit of S1 maximum adorkability is just delightful. Aww!

And snow globes! The snow globe always gets to me. *uses new snow globe icon*

That's also a great description of the show. Hee! I do think the "skillset" thing involves a little more than just imagination, but, yeah, not so much that you really want to think about it too hard. :)

Yay! Then my work here is done.

I sure think so. ♥

Yeah, I was afraid of that. Well, it only makes sense.

so a hit of S1 maximum adorkability is just delightful. Aww!

And this was only about half the season!

And snow globes! The snow globe always gets to me. *uses new snow globe icon*

Like I say in the alt-text, that one shot is realy pongent in retrospect, isn't it?

That's also a great description of the show. Hee!

I was in kind of a goofy mood. ^_^

Yeah, I started trying to explain it, rationally, and I was like "No, there is too much. Let me sum up."

Yeah. He still has his little adorkable moments, though. :)

I didn't see the alt-text on it. But, yeah, it is poignant. I swear, this show has this whole poignant snow globe motif. :)

Yeah, I started trying to explain it, rationally, and I was like "No, there is too much. Let me sum up."

This is almost certainly the correct approach. *nods firmly*

Wow, I have to admit I have never wanted to see this show until now. Not only is this totally glee-inducing (he looks like an incredible dork, a quality I much admire), but it's a very effective pimp tool!

Did she mention the part where this is only the start of the dorktasticness, and they have three majorly dorktastic characters? :)

Also - and I say this as a connoisseur of really hard women on TV - this show has the single most relentlessly tough woman on television ever, and possibly also the most three-dimensionally characterized woman I've ever seen on TV.

And so much awesome character complexity overall - I think a casual viewer (and the studio execs, no doubt they were meant to see it this way) sees a simple action/adventure show, but the viewer who watches them sequentially gets a really complex set of characters and backstories slowly building with each episode, until you get something that's both full of that light humor but also fairly horrific as a human tragedy.

Once upon a time, like in the 60's, a scary bunch of MKULTRA-types called "The Center" kidnapped stole bought bred who the fuck knows aquired a cute lil pretender named Jarod who demonstrated his amazing superior pretenderness by building the empire state building out of Legos.

Ha! Too funny! And thanks for the picspam!

I'm glad that was appreciated. I just felt the need to send up that little VO-thingie, because I've heard it over and over and over lately... XD
