Theme song

I think I've decided that my current theme song is "Roam" by the B-52's. It's a wonderful song, and it is appropriate for my current job. In my job, I test hardware. One test that I do is called the "Roam Test", because I take a couple of badges and I walk some distance with them. Then I walk back again. And I repeat this a few times, until I ( Read more... )

the return of General Kitty of Fort Blacktile riannekitty August 4 2005, 23:30:54 UTC
*General Kitty emerges from the online clutter of forgotten livejournals. She is worn from her many battles, yet there is a fierce gleam in her eyes. A chunk has been sliced out of one ear, and an eyepatch ironically covers one eye, as if the fates have cruely mimicked her one-eyed-lizabeth game... but oh, they have made it all too painfully real.*

I have returned, Lima! Or should I say, Major Minor? Did you think you had defeated me?? Never! I have been training with the great Blog-Fu masters of Tibet, and now I have the power to defeat you! Come, let us do battle! My fort may be long destroyed, but I, I will not give up so easily!

*The Great and Wise Lizabeth, here cleverly disguised as Lima, looks up in surprise at General Kitty's abrupt entrance. She cackles upon seeing the eyepatch, with its daisy painted on it. She unwinds her legs from the lotus position, and unhurriedly descends to the ground.*

So nice to see you, General Kitty. What brings you to my neck of the woods?

*Without waiting for a response, she leaps many feet into the air and brings her legs under her. The camera swings around, Matrix-like, as she floats there. Kicking with her right foot, she kicks General Kitty, who flies backwards off the Lizabeth's hill.*

*The Lizabeth cackles maniacly.*

*general kitty, likewise, rotates matrix-like and lands lightly on her feet.*

Ha! You are indeed a worthy opponent... but it was foolish of you to think a cat would land any way other than upright. Your neck of the woods? Oh don't worry about that, Major. I do believe it would be more prudent to worry about what what's bringing me to... your NECK!

*general kitty flies, with a cry, at the small lizard, teeth exposed and gleaming.*
