I just had an interesting thought.  I wonder what the relative ease of screwing is of a flat-head screw and a phillips-head screw, assuming the same surface and nearly identical size/material and nearly identical screwdrivers.  There must be some reason one would just flat-head over phillips or phillips over flat-head.

I went to an open house yesterday, and fell in love with it.  It's an apartment-y thing in a house.  Most importantly, it has a real yard with a shed in the back, and a HOSE, and they're all mine.  I won't have to share.  So exciting.  The place itself is small, but since there's just me I think it'll be ok.  I sign the lease tomorrow.  Seriously, ( Read more... )

Every so often I come up with wonderful statements. Today's was, "I'm so glad I'm not a girl."

I think I've decided that my current theme song is "Roam" by the B-52's. It's a wonderful song, and it is appropriate for my current job. In my job, I test hardware.
