Caught Australia with Carlene last night, and I honestly can't fathom why the reviews are soooo bad. Mr Luhrmann has never been known for producing movies with amazing plots, so I don't know why people expected that and I read a review that criticised Nicole Kidman's cut-glass accent - her character's from England, she's supposed to have that ( Read more... )

To me, it's worth the big screen...
except for the gross kissing scene haha.

i don't think even the lure of hugh jackman can make me sit through a movie like that for 3 hours ;p
