(no subject)
Just about now, everyone should be settling down to watch Doctor Who. But don't despair; remember the super trailer at the end of The Lazarus Experiment? I've screencapped it (every scene), and written up my commentary. This is pretty image heavy - there are around 50 screencaps. There are also spoilers up til the end of the series - the pics are obviously spoilers, and my comments draw on other known spoilers. So, if you don't want to know, don't click. As usual, I've included a download of the screencaps, so feel free to take and use them.
1. Man: "We need a Time Lord."
2. Explosion, someone running away
3. Explosion, more people running away
4. Another explosion
5. CAPTAIN JACK RUNNING!!! I'm going to bet that he's running up the Roald Dahl Plass towards the TARDIS
6. Now, this is very weird. The camera fast-zooms up to this little girl
7. Um. Ok. Looks like something from "42"
8. Spaceship glowing/blowing up
9. Doctor: "Martha, you trust me don't you?"
10. Martha: "Of course I do."
Doctor: "Because it all depends on you."
11. Explosion. We're getting a lot of these in the next few episodes
12. Martha running away from it
13. Another shot of the explosion
14. Doctor: "I mean it this time"
15. Martha: "Tell me about it"
16. The Doctor is attached to these things, which I think come from the TARDIS control. He's shrieking
17. Martha isn't doing *anything*, she's just looking worried, so I think this is a continuation of the scene in cap 9/10, where the Doctor asks Martha if she trusts him
18. Woman surrounded by scarecrows. I think this may be the same episode as the explosions in the first caps, as they're wearing similar costumes
19. Guy screaming. He's the person who says, "we are the family of blood" in another trailer
20. Scarecrow angling its head to look at the camera. These things scare the HELL out of me
21. Doctor (or is he?): "It all took place in the future". In a very posh accent, so I'm thinking the episode Human Nature
22. Doctor steps out of a door...
Martha: "Doctor!"
Jack: "Woah!"
23. ...yeah, not a good idea. Jack saves him ^^
24. I think either the Sun or a planet blowing up
25. Jack running up the Plass...
26. ...and a MIGHTY jump. TARDIS sound in the background, so I'm guessing he just manages to catch it after running out of the Hub. Which way is he supposed to have come out? Up the stairs, perhaps?
27. Man: "God help him."
28. Doctor sitting on a bed - possibly Martha's flat?
29. Martha: "Doctor, what do we do?"
30. Doctor: "Don't look away, and don't..."
31. Guy: "RUN!"
32. THEY'RE RUNNING ^^ They're all wearing something round their necks
33. Two men pushing the Doctor to the floor
34. Martha: "Doctor!"
35. Doctor: "What exactly do you do for him?"
36. Doctor: (continued from previous shot) "What does he need you for?" And I think this is maid!Martha
37. Doctor: "MARTHA!" Martha is in the foreground, banging against a window
38. Opposite view of the previous shot
39. The Doctor, looking somewhat ruffled and out of breath
40. Jack: "Was someone kissing me?" HA! I hope someone does kiss him xD
41. Martha looking rather shocked/pleased at something
42. More running!
43. Camera flash. ARGH JOHN SIMM!
44. Oooh. Looks like Downing Street (not that I know what the inside of Downing Street looks like, but it seems similar to AoL?), everyone but him unconscious, and he's wearing a gas mask and tapping out a rhythm. I smell CONSPIRACY. And LOOK AT HIS RING!
45. Fadeout
46. Voiceover (continues through next few shots): He's fire and ice,
47. Fadeout
48. VO: "and rage."
49. VO: "He's like the night,"
50. VO: "and the storm"
51. VO: "and the heart of the sun."
