I don't have any record of sending you other than small sympathetic few-line supportive hugmails between May 30th and July 9th, and what I sent you after that point was to gmail or to both addresses. This is not a perfect guarantee or anything, my sent-mail records at work are lousy, but I do not think anything major is missing.

Thanks. I think you mostly paid attention to me when I asked people to stop using my uni address, so this is all good. Also, the text on your hardware problem icon is much clearer now, btw.

gah. haven't looked at this for ages at home, been spending too much time at work. well, the journal bits display ok, but all the comments are long black boxes with the user picture on the side. no writing, not even when highlighted. is it just my archaic computer/software?

I have absolutely no idea why the comment bits would do that! I thought I'd checked a reasonable range of browsers, but there's always one that escapes. But you are the second person today who's complained that my journal is illegible; maybe time for a redesign. What I suggest you do is add ?style=mine to URLs if you want to see the comments. Eg this post with its comments would be: http://www.livejournal.com/users/livredor/111769.html?style=mine
