Today has been one of Those Days. Actually, it started off okay; even though I woke up a bit before my alarm went off, I didn't feel crazy tired or anything. But then about 45 minutes before I had to leave for work I suddenly started feeling really ill - sick and a bit dizzy - and my leg was really stinging from the scratch on it (courtesy of one ( Read more... )

Are you pregnant? :I Maybe your cat is really a werecat and when it scratched you it infected you and now you'll be a wereSam. An American Werewolf in London-style (shetty 80s film... actually, haven't seen it yet. BET IT'S AWESOME).

I think my only foray into crime fiction was Hannibal and I'm not even sure that counts. I keep having to pick up and put down Let the Right One In which is annoying because I normally blow through books. And then there's my Kindle with tons of Oscar Wilde just WAITING TO BE READ...

What kinda books did you get? :o

The pregnancy scare was in January. J/K J/K I probably shouldn't joke about something like that. If I'm wereSam, does that make you Mikayla Cullen? DO YOU HAVE THE SKIN OF A KILLER? DO YOU? (I've never seen it either! We should watch it!)

Ooh, Hannibal~ Did you read the whole trilogy or just that one title? I found all three at a car boot sale once and got them for the grand total of £1.50, which I was pretty pleased with. Of course, Hannibal Rising was like ten times that because I got it when it was first released, but whatever. I need to reread them all (and rewatch the movies, come to think of it). If you ever decide to read any more crime, I would recommend Jeffrey Deaver FOREVER. (He wrote The Bone Collector, don't know if you've seen that movie?) He is just amazing, definitely one of my favourite authors.

I got a lot of non-fiction for Christmas. All to do with the First World War (but of course) :D And then I also got Alone in Berlin by Hans Fallada and A Good Woman by Danielle Steel. And for my birthday, my friend got me ( ... )

LMAO, because next thing you know: boom! Immaculate conception. The Catholic cult will be none-too-pleased to find a bun in the oven of a member of the church of England, oh ho ho.... sounds like a drama, actually. *writes to Dan Brown.*

Does that mean I have a foot face and weird nips? :I I'M A MONSTER. (We certainly will!)

I read just that one because it was one of those 'we have Silence of the Lambs, but someone has checked it out FOR ETERNITY' deals at the library. :( I didn't have the brain capacity to understand it in full back when I read it, so I want to reread it, def. I just bought Silence and Hannibal the ~movies. Oh, Sir Hopkins!

I actually prefer nonfiction over fiction, so I kinda feel you (although, mmm, literary fiction). I'm taking note of all these books actually, fear not! I have a lot of books to read already, lolol. :I

HERE, I'LL GIVE YOU A PROMPT... um, what do you usually write!

If someone could pull of that story, it would be him |D Also, that's one of my favourite Puck lines.

I don't think I'm qualified to answer that question. (Awesome~)

I had that same problem with Oliver Twist when I was younger :/ People can be so inconsiderate. I love those movies so much. SO MUCH.

Me too, with certain subjects. But I do find they're harder to get lost in, the way you can with novels.

I'm ashamed to admit that, uni-work aside, I mostly write fanfiction...although I haven't in quite some time. I'll give anything a try though, I enjoy a challenge :)

It's just taken me half an hour to write this reply 'cause 'Special Education' is on the TV :'D
